Paid Accounting Internship
- Assisting with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records
- Preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, invoices, and other documents
- Working with bookkeeping software
- Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity
- Learning how to work as part of the Accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company or clients
- Answering phone calls and assisting clients with their needs
- Potential for handling company marketing tasks and social media
- Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations
Administrative Assistant
- Reception desk duties, greeting clients and visitors
- Client scheduling and follow up
- Screen incoming phone calls and route calls to the appropriate party
- Administrative support for owner; including calendar management, scheduling, and timekeeping
- Administrative support for other team members as needed
- Preparation of marketing materials and social media posts
- Preparation of bulk mailings and client outreach
- Organize and maintain client and referral partner database
- Organize and maintain client files
- Continue ongoing education by participating in webinars, workshops, conferences and networking events
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Ensure accuracy and quality control of all work product
- Maintain confidentiality with personal and sensitive data
Staff or Senior Accountant
- Prepare various tax forms for compliance purposes including federal and state income tax, sales tax, and property tax listings. These forms are for individuals and businesses
- Assisting with research, bookkeeping, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records
- Preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, invoices, and other documents
- Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity
- Learning how to work as part of the Accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company or clients
- Senior accountants must have 2-3 years of experience and be able to review individual and entity tax returns
- Senior accountants will manage client engagements and relationships
- Staff and senior accountants will fascilitate proper workflow of all tax and accounting engagements
- Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations
